We are all very proud of our Officer Jim Pauciello.

Please pass the word and vote for him in the Americas' Most Wanted All Star Contest during your next break.
Click here to vote for him on the Americas' Most Wanted All Star Website. Please Read More for details.

James Pauciello
Patrol Officer
Fairfield Police Department
Fairfield, CT

This All-Star nominee doubles as a guardian angel. During Officer James Pauciello's 18 year career, he has defeated at least two suicide attempts. Most recently, Officer Pauciello pulled a 13-year-old suicidal girl off the train tracks just in the nick of time as an Acela train rapidly approached. This incident was reminiscent of a 1992 incident where Officer Pauciello stopped a man from jumping off of a highway bridge to his own death. Officer Pauciello has earned a medal from his actions in 1992 and an application has been submitted for him to be awarded for saving the girl on the railroad tracks as well. Officer Pauciello is also a former professional football player for the Cleveland Browns.

AMW, together with Sprint Nextel, honors All-Star first responders-law enforcement officers, fire fighters, EMTs and others-who go above and beyond to keep our communities safe every day of every year.
