To assure that our members have the finest legal representation, C.O.P.S. is proud to announce that we have hired the law firm of   Licari & Walsh LLC.

The firm of Licari & Walsh, LLC has twenty-six years of combined experience practicing law within the State of Connecticut. Licari & Walsh, LLC will represent our members in all labor relations matters, workers compensation issues and civil litigation resulting from a member’s employment. The firm of Licari & Walsh, LLC has a strong commitment and dedication to serving the needs of Law Enforcement Officers, Emergency Medical Service Employees, as well as Firefighters and Government Employees. The firm regularly practices before the State of Connecticut Department of Labor, Board of Labor Relations, Board of Mediation and Arbitration, the American Arbitration Association, the Connecticut Workers Compensation Commission as well as the State and Federal Courts in Connecticut.

In addition, Licari & Walsh, LLC will service the everyday legal concerns of our members through its legal services plan, which provides special benefits for all C.O.P.S members.

Christopher M. Licari

Chris graduated with honors from both Tufts University and the Quinnipiac School of Law. Chris is admitted to practice in both state and federal court. His areas of concentration include representing those injured by fault of another, civil litigation, real estate and small business law.

Chip Walsh

Chip graduated from Boston College and Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. Chip is admitted to practice in both state and federal court. His areas of concentration include public sector grievance representation and interest arbitration, labor contract and pension negotiation, employment law and workers compensation law.

We look forward to working side by side with Chip and Chris to provide the proper representation to all of our members.
